2. High Speed Dirt- Corkscrew 450 splash from an elevated ledge(balcony,
video board, etc.) onto opponent laid out on a table or two
Entrance music: "Cumin' Atcha Live" by the Tesla
Wrestler Appearance: At a very diminutive size for a pro wrestler, Erik is
still very well put together. He is not bulky, but he still has a very solid
and defined build, similar to Gerard Butler in the movie "300". He is a very good
looking young man with long, blonde hair and icey blue eyes. His entire upper torso is a roadmap of various scars, but it is the long scar on the left side of his face which he got in a fight while he was in prison that is the most prominent. He also sports an eyebrow ring in his right eyebrow and multiple tattoos. Some of his more prominent ones are the one on his neck which is a dotted line with the word "CUT" inscribed in the line on the front, the Viking rune for courage on his right forearm, the Viking rune for victory on his left forearm, a large Thor's hammer on his right bicep designed to look like an arm bracelet, a large German eagle that takes up much of his back, and Captain America's shield on his left pectoral.
Ring Attire: Erik wrestles in a pair of jeans with skull designs printed all
over them and varying longsleeve t-shirts.
He wears a pair of black Nike Greco Supreme ameteur wrestling
shoes and a pair of leather shinpad-like leggings, the one
on the right will have a large iron cross on it and the one on the left will
have the Norse pagan symbol of Thor's hammer. Both of his hands will be
heavily taped. To the ring, Erik wears a black denim jacket covered
with chains, spikes, and studs over his wrestling attire. He will remove
this before the match begins.
Give me a brief biography of your wrestler:
A tough, smashmouthed individual from Detroit's meanest streets, Erik Grimsson is truly a product of his environment. While never having been the biggest or strongest dog in the fight, Erik has always more then made up for it with his speed and quickness, as well as with a zeal, eagerness, and toughness matched by very few. On top of all that, his years as an amateur boxer have now left him with punching power that is nothing short of shocking. Needless to say, if there is a chance to fight, Erik will be there, eagerly waiting for his turn. However, while the thrill is the main reason that he does this, Erik will be the first to admit that there are some out there that it is a real pleasure to pummel. It is these situations where he really shines.
Outside the ring, Erik is a very friendly, outgoing person. He enjoys the company of others and appreciates his fans immensely. However, when he steps into the ring, he has only one single minded purpose, and that is to pummel his opponent until there is nothing left. And when that time comes, you can expect him to take the violence to surreal levels.
Strengths:
1. Upper Body Assault- Unlike other wrestlers his size, Erik doesn't like to stay away from his larger opponents and pepper them with hit and run tactics and aerials. He much prefers to use his speed to get in close and get them in a phone booth and then slug it out. And with his ability to fire off blazing fast forearms, elbows, punches, and headbutts it's not really that surprising why. His punches are not only fast, but also powerful and his head as hard as any Samoans, making him surprisingly dangerous with this tactic.
2. Punishment Sponge/Human Speedball- Much like his brother, Chad, Erik can take a sickening beating. In fact, he can do it many times over, then get back up and smile at you before he rips into you with machine gun punches. Opponents have been known to bounce him off the mat and the arena floor like a speedball and chuck him around like a lawn dart, only to have him pop back up and charge right back at them. His stamina and resilience is nothing short of miraculous.
3. Kid Brother Grapple Defense- You know that kid brother or friend's kid brother that no matter what you did, you could never quite get a hold of? Well, that's Erik for you. After years and years of fighting with his much bigger and stronger[and far more technically skilledat the time] older brother and of working tirelessly on improving his mat skills with Kyle Lee and Tesla St. James, Erik is now very sound on the mat. Combine that with the energy level of a five year old on a sugar rush and the fact that people trying to grapple with him outright pisses him off, even the strongest and most knowledgeable grapplers will find it next to impossible to keep a hold of Erik. He will do anything and everything to break a hold on him, from trying to work his opponent into exhaustion on the mat to lashing out with a hail of strikes to his opponents nearest body part. While certainly not conventional, for Erik, this has nontheless proven effective.
Weaknesses:
1. Never Takes a Backward Step- No matter how bad things are going, no matter how bad he's getting creamed, no matter how much things aren't working, Erik has only one gameplan: charge forward and attack. The kid is absolutely fearless. He doesn't slide out of the ring to take a breather, he doesn't stop and let his opponent come to him, he keeps trying to come forward and press the action. He simply does not make adjustments. While this can sometimes be a strength, it is also a major weakness.
2. Little Man In a Big Man's World- Erik may be fast, he may be tough, he can certainly dish out and take a lot of punishment, but the fact still remains, the guy is small. His larger opponents generally have the ability to throw him around like a rag doll. Yeah, he'll get up and keep coming at you as long as he can, but eventually everybody wears down, and he's no exception. Make no mistakes about it, Erik will never willingly quit coming or throw in the towel, but on some occassions, his body has been forced to do it for him.
3. Never quits: Even the toughest men have their limits, and if he's in trouble, Erik always chooses to go beyond his instead of throwing in the towel.* When this happens, the results are often quite grim.
