Character History:
Eddy Robinson's wrestling career started in 2002-3 in the IWE where as a
relative unknown, Eddy quickly won over fans. Robinson gained fame in IWE for
his feud and prominient PPV win over Lawerence Williams, that was highlighted by
a ridiculous thirty foot dive off of a scaffold onto Williams that ended his
career, and in the process helped solidify Eddy's.
Sadly the IWE would soon fold, leaving Eddy to go test his craft overseas and in
Mexico. Still craving success in the USA, Robinson would jump at that chance to
move back to the US and compete in the USJP where Eddy finally "arrived".
Throwing caution to the wind Eddy partipcated in a feud with Voodoo, an
underground hardcore cult hero, that was as bloody as it was intense. Voodoo got
the upperhand in a triple dance with Masquerade in a Heaven & Hell match, but
again, Eddy stole the show. From there people again took noticed, and Eddy went
on a roll that including a clean pins over wrestling icons such as Serge Annis
and Sean Watts, as well as a triple threat win over Voodoo and Sabbath, where Eddy finally pinned
Voodoo.
Eddy's winning that match made him #1 contender to Blackouts title, but
unfortunatley the USJP would fold, leaving Eddy again looking at a life
overseas, but thankfully, Eddy would invited to a reforming AWMC. His impact was
felt immediatley as Eddy won the Extremist title in his first match. He'd retain
it in each defense he had until the AWMC also folded.
Needing direction, Eddy would wrestle extensivley in Mexico and Japan, crafting
a new hybrid style of Mexicos lucha libre tradition, and Japans stiff working
style that has helped Eddy become a complete wrestler.
